Michigan: Comparative Analysis of Science Achievement in Michigan School Districts Using Science and Technology for Children®Students in Michigan who have been enrolled in school districts that use Science and Technology for Children (STC) were compared to other students in Michigan on their performance on the Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) which is given to all 5th graders at the end of the school year. Data from the study shows that over the five years the data was taken, students under the STC program from widely different demographics all consistently performed better than their counterparts on the MEAP.
