Oklahoma school districts range from large urban and suburban districts to small rural districts. School districts across the state have an interest in or have the potential to be clients of the Oklahoma Regional LASER Site.

The Oklahoma Regional LASER Site is a partnership among the following organizations:

• The Oklahoma State University Centerfor Science Literacy (CSL). The CSL is a joint endeavor of the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Education, Human Environmental Sciences, Engineering, and Agriculture of Oklahoma State University. The mission of the Center is to promote an understanding of science and mathematics, help improve the teaching of these disciplines, and stimulate an interest in careers in science and mathematics and their teaching.
• The OklahomaTeacher Education Collaborative (OTEC). OTEC is a consortium of nine institutions of higher education:

2. The University of Oklahoma
3. The University of Tulsa
4. Langston University
5. Cameron University
6. Southwestern Oklahoma State University
7. the University of Central Oklahoma
8. Northeastern Oklahoma State University
9. Tulsa Community College

• The Oklahoma State Department of Education and the OklahomaCommission for Teacher Preparation. These organizations work with CSL and OTEC to address issues of science and mathematics education reform in Oklahoma.
