When visiting the NSRC

  • You must either have an appointment or call ahead to be put on the guest list.
  • You will need photo identification.
  • Security officers hand-check all bags, purses, briefcases, suitcases, etc.

Try to Use Public Transportation
The use of public transportation, including taxis, in Washington is recommended. Parking is limited and posted times are enforced.

Metro—All NSRC offices: The NSRC's offices are located across from the south end of the L’Enfant Plaza Metro stop (Green and Yellow lines upstairs, Orange and Blue downstairs.) Every Metro subway station is equipped with an elevator and most with escalators. For more information, visit the Metro website http://www.wmata.com.

Parking—All NSRC offices: Limited parking is available on D Street. Garage parking is located at 901 D Street and the L'Enfant Plaza Hotel across the street.
