Learning Science in Informal Environments Webinar

Welcome to the NSRC’s webinar featuring the National Research Council’s recent publication, Surrounded by Science: Learning Science Informal Environments by Marilyn Fenichel and Heidi A. Schweingruber!

Informal environments provide a wealth of opportunities for learning and sparking interest in both everyday settings and designed settings such as museums and sciences.
 
The program will be hosted by Bill Watson, Chief of Onsite Learning at NMNH.  It features remarks from Sally Goetz Shuler, Executive Director of the National Science Resources Center and presentations from Martin Storksdieck, Director of the Board on Science Education, and Tricia Edwards, Education Specialist at the Lemelson Center in NMAH.
