how scientists and engineers can recruit others to outreach efforts

Recruit Others draw on community connections and clout in order to engage key individuals to become involved with reform efforts. This action can take many forms so, please contact the NSRC for guidance or information.

  • Scientists and engineers are positioned to serve as persuasive advocates for science education reform and can draw on their position in order to motivate others to join them in their efforts.
  • Work with the NSRC to publicize research on the topic of STEM education reform and engage community stakeholders in the efforts to initiate and implement reform, starting at the local level.
