How much does each workshop cost? The cost varies according to the venue, number of participants, and the length of the course or workshop. Contact PD Center Director David Marsland (202-633-2967) for specific information.
Where are your courses offered? We offer courses at a site that is suited to the needs of districts and coalitions. This includes letting you choose the most convenient site location. When will you offer courses for elementary school teachers? Currently, our courses are focused on the Science and Technology Concepts for Middle Schools (STC/MS) curriculum for middle schools.
Do you offer courses for high school teachers? No courses are planned as yet at the high school level.

Do I have to be an STC/MS user to benefit from your courses? Although our focus is currently on the STC/MS curriculum, the principles and content of the Inquiry and Probeware workshops would apply to other inquiry science programs.

What do you mean by the term “research-based” when referring to curricula and professional development? The curricula and professional development endorsed and used by the NSRC are based on the latest research on how people learn.
