Eighty-six school districts in 13 South Carolina Statewide Systemic Initiative Hub regions are potential clients of the South Carolina Regional LASER Site. These districts enroll more than 400,000 K–8 students.

The South Carolina Regional LASER Site is a network of organizations active in the systemic reform of science education:

• The South CarolinaLASER Business Partnership. Corporations including BMW Manufacturing Corp., DuPont, Michelin North America, and Progress Energy.
• The Math Science Unit (MSU) of the South Carolina Department of Education. The MSU is a network of eight regional science and mathematics resource centers that promote systemic reform in science and mathematics education through the preparation and support of school-based science and mathematics coaches.
• The College of Engineering and Science (CoES) at Clemson University. CoES provides a home for South Carolina LASER and supports its work as part of the land grant mission of public service and outreach.
